Welcome to Twonight. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Twonight web app at twonight.virtuonweb.com and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Twonight

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use Twonight. The Service is built around evening and nightlife meetups; if you are under 18 you must not create an account or join plans.

1.2 You agree to use the Service in compliance with the laws of the Republic of Korea and any other jurisdiction from which you access it.

1.3 You may use only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade trust score, soft-bans, or moderation is a Terms violation.

2. Account & profile

2.1 You sign in with Google. Your display name, profile photos, age range, nationality, language, and bio are visible to other Twonight users so they can decide whether to join your plans.

2.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and the content you post (plans, comments, reviews, photos). Do not impersonate others, post photos that aren't yours, or upload misleading information.

2.3 You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Edit. Deletion has a 7-day grace window during which you can restore by signing back in.

3. Conduct

By using Twonight you agree NOT to:

Twonight may remove plans, comments, photos, or accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal and reporting to law enforcement where required.

4. Content & intellectual property

4.1 You keep ownership of the photos, comments, plans, reviews, and other content you submit. By posting content to Twonight, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, cache, moderate, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the Service.

4.2 You represent that you have the rights needed to post your content. Do not upload photos, text, trademarks, or other materials that belong to someone else unless you have permission.

4.3 Twonight's name, interface, guide articles, software, trademarks, and original site content are owned by Twonight or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or create derivative services from them except as allowed by law or with written permission.

4.4 Copyright or intellectual-property complaints can be sent to twonight@virtuonweb.com with enough detail for us to identify the content and the claimed right. We may remove or restrict access to disputed content while we review the request.

5. Plans, group chats, and meetups

5.1 Twonight helps you discover, host, and join small-group plans for the night. We provide the matchmaking layer; the actual meetup, the venue, the bill, and the conversation are between you and the other attendees.

5.2 Hosts confirm a plan once enough people have joined. Hosts may share an external group-chat link (e.g. Instagram group, KakaoTalk, WhatsApp). Twonight does not control or moderate those external chats.

5.3 You agree to attend plans you've committed to in good faith. If you can't make it, leave the plan early. Cancelling near the start time when others have joined affects your trust score.

5.4 Meetups happen in the real world. Use your judgment, meet in public places first, and tell a friend where you're going. Twonight is not responsible for what happens off-platform.

6. Reviews & trust score

6.1 After a confirmed plan ends, members can review each other. Reviews influence a private trust score that determines visibility in the feed and access to features like Boost. Trust scores are not shown to other users — only to admins for moderation.

6.2 Submit reviews honestly. Fake or coordinated negative reviews are a Terms violation and may result in trust penalties or account removal.

7. Beta program

7.1 During the beta, the Service is free. As a thank-you for testing, the first 100 testers who satisfy the published eligibility (≥ 7 days on the platform, ≥ 1 hosted plan, ≥ 2 plans joined, one feedback submission) receive a Starbucks coffee coupon delivered in-app via your giftbox.

7.2 Coupons are tied to your Twonight account. Forwarding or selling a coupon to a third party voids the coupon — whoever redeems it first burns it permanently. We are not responsible for lost or screenshotted coupons that get redeemed by someone else.

7.3 Coupons are subject to the issuing vendor's own terms (e.g. Starbucks Korea). We act as a delivery channel; redemption disputes are with the vendor.

8. Paid features (effective when activated)

The following paid features may be activated after the beta. By continuing to use the Service after activation, you agree to the additional terms below.

8.1 Boost. Hosts may purchase a Boost for a Plan, which prioritizes its placement in the Tonight feed for a defined period. Boost purchases are non-refundable once consumed. Boost does NOT guarantee a minimum number of joiners, and Twonight retains the right to demote Boosted plans for Terms violations without refund.

8.2 Discounted venue tickets. Twonight may surface discounted entry tickets for partner venues (bars, clubs, events) inside the app. Tickets are sold under the venue's terms; Twonight acts as a technical agent and earns a per-ticket commission. Refund requests are routed to the venue.

8.3 Partner-venue rewards. Twonight may have agreements with partner venues where a complimentary item (for example, a welcome shot) is provided when a defined number of Twonight guests visit, verified through the app. Eligibility, party size, and timing are determined by the venue and may change without notice.

9. Refunds & disputes

Paid features are generally non-refundable once delivered (Boost consumed, ticket issued). Where required by Korean consumer law (e.g. cooling-off period for digital goods that have not been used), refund requests should be sent to twonight@virtuonweb.com within the statutory window.

10. Termination

10.1 You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Edit. Pending paid purchases (Boost, tickets) are NOT automatically refunded upon deletion.

10.2 Twonight may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or for legal/safety reasons. Funds paid for unconsumed paid features will, where reasonable, be refunded.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Twonight does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any plan will result in a meaningful meetup. We do not endorse or verify the identity or background of any user beyond OAuth signup.

You are responsible for your own safety. Twonight is a meeting facilitator, not a venue, an event organizer, a dating service, or a background-check provider.

Twonight does not conduct background checks on users. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the risks that can come with in-person meetups, including fraud, theft, assault, or other illegal conduct by other users or third parties.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twonight, its founders, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including damages arising from offline interactions with other users.

Our aggregate liability to you for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid Twonight in the 12 months preceding the claim, or KRW 50,000, whichever is greater.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be brought before the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the change date means you accept the updated Terms.
